Diane M. (Lariviere) Larivee, age 71, of Cumberland Rhode Island passed away at home on Friday, November 18. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Leo O. Larivee.
She was the daughter of the late Marcel A. and Aline A. Lariviere. Diane spent many years working as a nursing assistant and medication technician at Mt St Rita’s Health Care Centre in Cumberland, R. I.

Diane taught the importance of family. There was nothing more that Diane enjoyed than being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She always looked forward to Sundays and visits as well as listening to the antics of her grandchildren. She provided a listening ear as well as encouragement and support to each one. And always expressed the importance of God being ever present in our lives and exemplified how Jesus wanted us to live.

Diane was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. She leaves behind her children; Laura Lafreniere, Linda and Michael Benoit, Lee-Ann and Michael Bruhn, Lisa and David Jencks, and Leslie and Jeffrey Towle as well as thirteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two sisters Jeanne Ramieri (Ronald), Julie Bagnall, and three brothers; Richard Lariviere, David Lariviere ( Kelly),
Gerard Lariviere, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son in law, Richard Lafreniere, and a great granddaughter, Catheryn Larivee Benoit.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Tuesday November 22 from 8:30am until 10:15am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at 11am and be celebrated in Historic St. Joseph Church, 1303 Mendon Rd, Cumberland. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Hope Health 1085 North Main Street, Providence, R. I.
